Consider science career

Consider+science+career

Dr. Robert Kramer adds more oxygen to the flame of a candle, creating an analogy of different ways to increase the amount of energy in a body, during a visit to Concord High School’s AP Biology class Thursday, May 22. Kramer, who has worked at Concord Hospital as an anesthesiologist for the past 30 years, enjoys speaking to high school students about his profession and the science behind his job. Part of his message was to choose work that you love, and not based on salary: “If you like people and science it’s the absolute best. If you do it for money, you’ll be at a loss.” Kramer is one of several professionals visiting Concord High this spring to discuss possible careers in the field of biology.
