GAPPers take NYC

Delia Barry (left) and Lauren Hatch (right) look out on the New Jersey shoreline in the early morning hours during a recent trip to New York City with German American Partnership Program (GAPP) students. After watching Aladdin on Broadway, a number of students chose to venture into the city to see the night sights rather than return directly to the hostel. The 84-hour whirlwind trip to Manhattan is always one of the highlights of a GAPP stay in the United States. The 25 German GAPP students who arrived in Concord Sept. 19 returned home to Wegberg on Saturday, Oct. 17. Concord High School participants are tentatively  scheduled to travel to Germany the night of Graduation 2016.
