ACCESS students sell art at Dos Amigos

Visitors to Dos Amigos on Main Street will find walls brightened by students in the ACCESS Transition Program, whose art is currently on display.

Each picture is for sale. Students, who created their works on canvas, will keep 100% of sales.

Artists Nic Polumaine, Kate Warburton and Dominic Watterson say it is a team effort to beautify our city, starting with the best restaurant, Dos Amigos!

Special Education teacher Kari Zwick recommends sharing a order of nachos with someone for Valentine’s Day.

Polumaine, who has the most artwork on display, is a productive artist who paints bright and cheerful colored abstracts. She successfully sold works in a holiday art market in Concord this past November.

So far she has sold more than 20 paintings, which is very impressive for an artist so young.

Poluaine is also an entrepreneur who next Thursday will opens her milkshake shop, Tidey’s Milkshakes, next to the Popcorn Cart outside Commons A from 1:15 -2.

Milkshakes will cost $1.50 apiece.

Polumaine plans to start with two flavors, chocolate and vanilla, both topped with whipped cream, but wants to hear from customers as to which flavors to add next.
