Ayden Blanchard, a Concord High School freshman, writes a message on a friend’s paper heart taped to the windows of the catwalk on Feb. 14, 2022. He searched the windows of the catwalk for the names of people he knows. “My friend sent me a photo of my name and I really wanted to find his and some others,”, said Blanchard. The placement of the paper hearts on the windows has been a tradition for many years within the school. Although the past couple of years have been rough for all students globally, school activities and traditions can lift spirits. Both windows were covered in the paper hearts that had students from all grades’ names written on them. The delight of finding their names was a feeling many students shared and hope to have again next year on Valentine’s Day.
