Four!

Two days before the homecoming game vs. Portsmouth, Concord High School junior Isaiah Turner throws up 4 fingers symbolizing the idea that a football game is won in four quarters. This symbol echoed throughout the whole varsity team during conditioning, as the sounds of players and coaches calling out “Four!” could be heard blasting across the field until practice finally ended at 6 p.m. “We know we can play in the first half; we have yet to play a second half of football” said Offensive Coordinator Hamilton Munnell in the post-practice breakdown huddle. The team is currently 1-4, but hopes to win its next game, against Manchester Central, Friday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. at Memorial Field.
