This year the UN Club at Concord High School raised more than $ 400 to take 50 New American students to a Fisher Cats game in Manchester May 16 at 6:35 p.m. Reshika Subbakaran, a UN Club member, said, “We wanted to give back something to the community.” The UN Club worked with members of the ELL Department to arrange the outing. “Many New Americans have seen baseball only on TV,” said Subbakaran.
