Approximately 60 Concord High School students took part in Application Day Friday, Nov. 15, in the orange carpeted area off Main Street. Students worked with admissions officers and volunteers from a variety of colleges to complete applications for matriculation next fall. The annual event is sponsored by NHHEAF and the New Hampshire State Board of Education, according to CHS school counselor Jonathan Flower.  “Seniors are able to apply to any N.H. school, public or private, and have the application fee waived. ” Application Day is part of New Hampshire’s “I Am College Bound” initiative, which according to NHHEAF began in 2014: “Follow-up support and materials regarding completing the college admissions and financial aid processes are distributed as well. Each participating high school receives one $500 scholarship to be raffled and awarded to a participating student.”
