The musical The Addams Family will premiere  Thursday, May 9, at 7 p.m. in the Concord High School Auditorium.
Ticket cost $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. Tickets officially went on sale online Monday, March 4. If any seats remain open, tickets will be available at the door starting one hour prior to each performance.
Show dates include Thursday, May 9, Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11, at 7 p.m. There is also a matinee Saturday, May 11, at 2 p.m.
The cast has been putting in nonstop work for months to prepare for opening night.
“We had auditions at the end of January. There are 26 cast members, and 50 auditioned, so we had to cut almost half,” said director Clint Klose. “It is a very hard, difficult process. We are very fortunate and have been fortunate to always have a very talented cast, many of whom are ‘triple threats.’ ”
The cast includes Chris Renaud (Gomez Addams), Emily Casko ( Morticia Addams), Myles Luongo (Uncle Fester), Casey Ingraham (Grandma), Rachel Revellese (Wednesday Addams), Dan Gaby (Mal Beineke), Maya Fabozzi (Alice Beineke), and Jacob Marcus (Lucas Beineke).
The cast is enthusiastic and ready for the show. “Auditions were intimidating but once we got to rehearsal the tension disappeared and we were able to have fun,” said freshman Evelyn Duggan, who also appears in the production.
“I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to work with such talented people and I know this will be a great experience,” said Renaud, also a freshman.
