Friday night frights

Friday+night+frights

A flash mob dance crew took to Main Street Friday, Oct. 26, during Concord’s annual Halloween Howl downtown. Dressed up in costumes, dancers performed a creepy Halloween number just as the sun was setting. Watching, with parents, were kids holding bags soon to be filled with candy during the trick-or-treating part of the evening. As people in the crowd took pictures, the lights to the buildings came on and lit the street up on this chilly October night. According to Intown Concord, the event also featured a donut eating contest on City Plaza, a haunted bus provided by the Concord YMCA, superheroes and free comic books thanks to Double Midnight Comics, a dance party sponsored by Christian Michael Hair Salon and Nazzy, and a meet-and-greet with Concord Police and Concord Fire Department Local 1045.
