Senior Katharine Tebbetts goes for a run on the dirt road at South Concord Meadows, training for the recent state track meet. She ran the 4 by 400 meter relay race and earned a new personal record, coming in at 63.5 seconds. Tebbetts goes for runs almost every day, ranging in distance and difficulty based on her mood. “After a run I realize I’ve forgotten everything I was stressed out about or any negative thoughts or feelings I had. It’s such a nice way to drain all negative emotions because the determination and then the feeling of accomplishment and success of the run takes over!” She plans on continuing to run track throughout college at Marywood University.
