Senior Directed One Acts will be performed Friday, Nov. 3, and Saturday, Nov. 4, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Christa McAuliffe Auditorium at Concord High School.
Tickets will be sold for $9 at the door.
The school calendar has said that there will also be a show on Thursday, Nov. 2, but that is not accurate.
This year there will be four shows directed by six seniors, each about 40-45 minutes long.
Performances include “4AM” directed by Skylar Matthews and Megan Kelley, “Check Please” directed by Tyler Nadeau, “Anybody for Tea?” directed by Alix Marrone and Colette Simpson as well as “Apostrophe’s” directed by Chloe Magee.
According to senior director Alix Marrone, most of this year’s shows are going to be comedies.
“All these seniors have been through the One Acts before,”  said Drama Club director Clint Klose. Many of the students have acted in one acts previously and have seen the process and work that goes into directing a show.
“They have a lot more empathy for me after directing,” he said.
Senior One Acts started approximately 15 years ago.  Referring to students who have participated in CHS Drama, Klose said.

“Anybody who doesn’t major in theater in college is usually still involved from interest gained during our program.”
Auditions were held in early September and Klose said Drama Club members “try as hard as we can to cast everyone who auditions.”
Each one-act cast has practiced twice a week for more than two hours all fall in preparation for this weekend’s performances.
Recently students have been completing set work. Shown here is senior Alix Marrone painting a door.
