No trespassing

Jacob Kelly, 17, canvasses for Republican U.S Senator Kelly Ayotte, who is running for reelection against Democratic challenger and current governor Maggie Hassan. Kelly walks away fast from a house with a “No Trespassing” sign. “Protocol is when you see a sign that says No Trespassing, you can’t go up the driveway. But when the sign is at the top of the driveway, you can’t see it, so you’ve already trespassed,”Kelly said. ” Then, they let the dog out, and you just have to run. I’m not trying to find out what this pit bull has to say.”  According to NHPR and the US Census, 40% of New Hampshire’s population live in rural areas, and 60% of those people own guns.  “That’s a scary thought,” said Kelly.  Sebastian Hart-Meyer, another canvasser for Ayotte, said, “Its always in the back of my mind, that when I turn around, I’m going to get shot.  I walk in zig -zags sometimes, just to make sure.”
