Senior Conor Kilgore does some work in the Concord High School library during his open period.  Kilgore’s passion for politics is evident from the stickers on his laptop.  “It’s something I’ve been into for my whole life really,” he said.  Kilgore thinks it’s important for young people to get involved in political action, especially concerning the upcoming election.  “I won’t be able to vote in it,” Kilgore said, “but I want John Kasich (to win).”  Kilgore participates in Concord High’s Model United Nations club and serves as president of the school’s Presidential Campaign organization.  Students looking to participate in Model United Nations should contact social studies teacher Fatima Isikdag by email at [email protected].
