Volleyball crushing it

Following a beautiful pass from captain Shea Mathews,  co-captain Caitlin Shea sets Lauren Hatch for a kill against Salem Sept. 21. Though the Crimson Tide dropped that particular match, the team is now, as of Oct. 11, 11-2 on the season, following only Merrimack and Spaulding in Division I standings. Concord has five games left before playoffs, including a home match Friday, Oct. 16, against Merrimack. Led by head coach Jonathan Flower, a guidance counselor at CHS, the squad includes: seniors Cailin Casey (15), Zoe Honigberg (8), Matthews (7), Sydney McClellan (13) and Sam Turner (10); juniors Hatch (11), Sierra Pepper (5) Rebekah Jauhola-Straight (6) and Shea (14); and sophomores Savannah Donahue (12), Brenna Vandersea (3) and Mariah Wimpey (20).
