Birthday surprise

Principal Gene Connolly, shown here with senior Thomas Boyce, was given a surprise birthday party by the Senior Class last Wednesday. Students were called to the Student Center for the last portion of period 3 to greet Connolly with three enormous cakes. Performances by student musicians added to the festive atmosphere. “The event was humbling and reminded me of how fortunate I am to work at Concord High School,” said Connolly in this week’s Crimson Notes. “The strength of CHS is in its individuals, both students and staff. We are all members of something that is very special.”
