Approximately 115 Concord High School marching band members head to the stands at Memorial Field immediately before the start of the Crimson Tide’s Sept. 20 game against Salem. CHS got shut out 0-23. As of Oct. 1, the team’s current standing is 0-4. But not to sound so sad, many people go to games to see the band, which this year is performing “Come On, Feel the Noize“, “Your song”, “I Like It”, and a medley of Queen songs. Said freshman Hayley Eliuk, “I thought it was okay. The band was kind of raspy, but they did good for not a lot of practice.” The CHS marching band is going to compete at the Salem Band Show at Pinkerton Academy Oct. 12, with a rain date of Oct. 13.
