Sophomore Patience Boley, junior Julianna Messina and sophomore Abe Lothstein explode with energy at a Saturday morning practice getting ready to complete a tumbling pass for a bullying awareness video challenge posted on Pinkerton Academy High School on Instagram. The “stick and stand up to bullying challenge” invited other New Hampshire teams to take part by taping rippled tumbling passes and explaining ways bullying can be prevented afterward. “It’s not a lot but the little things in life are what matter,” said Messina. Crimson Tide varsity cheerleaders kicked off their competition season this past weekend at Astroblast held at Pinkerton High School, according to head coach Laura Norwalt-Owen. The team placed first and received the grand champion award for the highest score overall. In addition, Lothstein received the best tumbler award.
