Winter Carnival time!

Winter+Carnival+time%21

Colin Nelson, Joey Ala, Danielle Roberge and Aly Tobey sit in the Student Center recently to raise money for crêpe-making supplies for the French Club’s booth at Winter Carnival Friday, Feb. 22. Winter Carnival is a yearly event sponsored by the Varsity Club. Students gather to play games and raise awareness for clubs, who sell items to make more money for future activities. Senior Tiffany Wang shared, “I like how the clubs share what they do, and share how they operate. It’s an opportunity for all clubs to get together.”  Clubs coordinate so that different groups sell different items. For example, the French Club will be offering crêpes with a variety of toppings while the Sophomore Class will sell cotton candy. Winter Carnival will run all day Friday. Sophomores will attend pd. 2, juniors will attend pd. 4, seniors will attend pd. 6, and freshmen will attend pd. 8. The Yearbook Club will sponsor a photo booth. Activities will include jousting, mini-hoops, human foosball, obstacle courses, strike-a-light and bungee run games.
