Mattress sale Sunday benefits CHS music

The Concord High School music department is holding its third annual mattress fundraiser this Sunday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Concord High School.

All are welcome to come buy a bed or materials like sheets, pillows and mattress protectors.

“Our goal this year is $10,000,” said CHS music teacher Gabe Cohen, a head organizer of the fundraiser.
The plan is to use the money from the fundraiser to help support the music department.
“Approximately one-fourth of the school is in the band,” said Cameron Beaupre, a senior who also participates.
When asked about why the fundraiser features selling mattresses, another senior in the music department, Kendra Spencer,  said, “People need to sleep.”
Everything at this fundraiser is delivered promptly, according to Cohen. “You can fill out the order form on Sunday and it will most likely ship the next business day which would be Monday the 6th.”
