Crack’s destructive capabilities

Exemplary student work being celebrated by English 10 teacher Meredith Vickery this month includes informational writing by David Venator, whose posting on the 1980s crack epidemic explains the “stranglehold” crack placed on many communities.

Venator’s “No Moore Crack, Please” is part of a blog project related to a class study of The Other Wes Moore by Wes Moore. The blog also includes narrative and argumentative elements.
